This shoe’s upper and lining are made of 100% Zero Impact leather, which is obtained through an environmentally friendly tanning process without the use of chromium and heavy metals.
What’s impressive is that AKU’s aim is to reduce the amount of leather waste during manufacturing, which means they reuse the leather in various steps of production. And, the CO2 emissions generated during the entire Minima life cycle have been compensated for by supporting United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) initiatives.
