Built for hill walking, via ferrata and approaches: Meet the TX5 Low GTX approach shoes from La Sportiva. Made of high-quality Nubuck leather and featuring a wide rubber rand, these shoes will be perfectly protected against both damage and abrasion. Plus, the MegaGrip sole from Vibram guarantees excellent traction on rocks, scree and unpaved roads. And, it’s complemented by the stable insole, EVA cushioning and 4 mm Ortholite approach insole. As for traction, the non-slip sole features a wide heel and lugs to improve traction on challenging terrain when going both up hill and down hill. Of course, the leather shoes wouldn’t be complete without a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane that guarantees both waterproof and breathable properties. The TX5 Low GTX offers the perfect mix of comfort and stability.
